The First Details On Next-Gen Audi TT Are Starting to Emerge!

The current TT is loosely based on other vehicles platforms, and future plans are to take the new car more upmarket. It will use a mixture of steel and aluminum in both the chassis and the body, producing a lighter (and more expensive) automobile.
The move is part of Audi’s efforts to target more focused sports cars. The car will retain its plush cabin, avant-garde styling, and everyday usability. Two separate bodystyles, a coupe and soft-top roadster, will also be retained.
The current front-engine, all-wheel drive layout will stay, but there’s rumored to be more powerful engines across the product range. Full LED headlights are also expected to make the cut, as will the choice of either manual or dual-clutch transmissions.
